How’s the day treating you so far?
Now is the time of the year when your skin tends to get dry the most. Personally, I prefer using natural products for my skin, I’m sure many of y’all do and If you are somebody who loves natural stuff you ought to have a look at these easy-peasy DIY masks to get rid of dry skin.
P.s. Make sure to wash your face with warm water before using any of these masks so your skin is clean.
Let’s have a look at these DIY Masks;
- Oats Mask
Things you’ll need:
1 Tbsp oatmeal
1 Tbsp of yogurt
1 Tbsp of honey
1 Teaspoon of olive oil
Combine all the ingredients in a small dish and apply the mask. Leave for 10 mins and then rinse off and moisturize your skin.
A Coffee mask is gorgeous for your skin!
2 tbsp of ground coffee
2 tbsp of cocoa powder
3 tbsp of milk
1 tbsp of honey
Keep for about half n hour and wash off with water.
- Banana, Honey and Oatmeal
This is the healthiest for your skin, moisturizes your skin deeply.
½ cup oatmeal
1 tbsp honey
Directions: Cut the banana in half and mash it with a fork. Add honey and oatmeal to it, mix well and add water, keep mixing until creamy consistency. Apply evenly and keep for 15 mins. Rinse with warm water and pat dry your face.
- Mayonnaise and Baby oil
You could use this for your face as well as your body.
2 tbsp mayo
1 tsp baby oil
Combine, Apply evenly and keep it for 20 mins.
Rinse off thoroughly.
- Butter Mask
Butter combined with honey is another highly moisturizing ingredient that will hydrate your skin.
1 tbsp of softened butter
1 tsp of raw, unfiltered honey
¼ tsp lemon juice
Combine all these ingredients until thick and creamy. Lather the mask onto the face in a thin layer. Leave for 20-30 mins. Remove with warm wet wash cloth and pat dry.
