DIY Favorite Facial Exfoliating Scrubs

Hello People!! 💁

Exfoliating is like my favorite part of skincare routine. It gives a new life to our face by removing all the dead skin and cleaning all the pores. Once in a while it’s necessary to exfoliate our skin. I believe homemade exfoliators are best to use as they are all natural and cause no side effects. I am going to share with you guys 5 of my Favorite DIY exfoliating scrubs which are super easy to make and very much accessible, i am sure you’re going to love them too!💖

  1. Sugar Scrubs:
  • Combine coconut oil with one cup of sugar and make a thick paste. Massage it in a circular motion and then wash with cool water.
  • Combination of honey + lemon juice + sugar is also a good exfoliating scrub.

2. Olive oil scrub:

Combine 1 tbsp honey +1 tbsp oilve oil  +1/2 cup sugar + 1/2 lemon juice. Make a thick consistency and massage gently. Wash off with cold water.

3. Baking Soda scrub:

Combine 1 tbsp of baking soda with  mineral water or honey. Make a suitable consistency (preferably thick) again, massage gently and wash your face with cool water.

4. Papaya and Curd

Take half cup of mashed ripe papaya. Add 2 tbsp of curd and 3 drops of lemon along with 1 tbsp honey and making a thick paste, massage gently and keep for 5 mins. wash off with cold water.

5. Banana scrub:

Take 2 ripe bananas, mashed. Add ground sugar and one tbsp honey and massage and wash off with cold water.

Splash water on your face and then take one tbsp of your diy scrub (whichever you made) and gently massage in circular motion on your face and neck. Don’t add much pressure. Do not apply on your under eye area. Scrub for 2-3 minutes atleast and a bit harder on the T zone of your face.

Normal skin should exfoliate twice or thrice a week. Dry skin, not more than twice a week. Combination skin, exfoliate twice a week. Oily skin, twice a week and Sensitive skin should exfoliate once a week only.

Until Next;

Stay Beautiful ✨
